Paint or Colour by Numbers – The Great Monuments of the World

This is the third book in my Paint by Numbers series and has been specially designed for beginners. Each project starts with a photograph of one of the world's great monuments, which has been carefully simplified into a series of clearly defined colouring areas. These areas are numbered to guide you through the painting process, making it easy to create attractive works of art regardless of your artistic experience.

Each monument is presented in several formats. Alongside a full-colour reference image and colour palette, you will find a numbered paint-by-numbers template, an unnumbered version for a greater challenge, and a sketch outline that allows you to add your own artistic interpretation. Whether you prefer colouring pencils, felt-tip pens, crayons, watercolours, paints, or other media, you can use whichever method suits you best.

Some of the finer details contain very small numbered areas. In these cases, the reference image and colour guide will help you determine the correct colours. A magnifying glass may also prove useful when working on the more intricate sections.

For those who wish to create a more permanent artwork, the designs can be traced or transferred onto watercolour paper, canvas, or other suitable surfaces before painting.

Once completed, the pictures can be cut out, mounted, and framed to create attractive displays for your home. Featuring a collection of famous landmarks from around the world, this book offers many hours of enjoyable relaxation while helping to develop concentration, observation, pattern-recognition skills, and artistic confidence.
