Written, directed, and produced by Mol Smith through Onview Films, The Séance is a low-budget, atmospheric horror short film that explores the perilous boundaries between the living and the dead. The story centers on a small group that gathers in a dimly lit, isolated setting to conduct a spiritual ritual, seeking answers from beyond the veil—only to inadvertently invite a sinister, uninvited presence into their midst.
Driven by Smith's signature minimalist aesthetic, claustrophobic camera work, and intense psychological dread, the short builds a dark, suspenseful narrative about the terrifying, irreversible consequences of meddling with forces beyond human control.
