FILM SYNOPSIS
A vampire hunter is on the trail of a female vampire. She is weakend and he seeks to finally destroy her, but he is bitten and infected with the vampire virus. He agrees with her to play a game. If he wins, he gets the cure and kills the vampire. But if he loses, she will suck him dry in this contemporay telling of a vampire tale.
Blood Chess (2023) is a fantasy horror short film produced by Onview Films that presents a high-stakes twist on classic vampire lore. Weakened, drained of her power, and hunted by a relentless, vengeful slayer, a desperate vampire makes one final gamble to survive: she summons her pursuer to face her in a strategic game of chess. With her life on the line, the stakes couldn't be higher—victory means restoring her strength with her enemy's blood, while defeat guarantees her ultimate demise by a stake to the heart.
