BEG YU A CALL
Director: Mikey T
FILM SYNOPSIS
Mikey T’s debut narrative film, Beg Yuh A Call, explores mental health, migration, masculinity, and cultural disconnection through an intimate conversation between two friends.
Conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic and completed in June 2025, the film represents a major creative milestone—marking his transition from documentary storytelling to narrative film while retaining a strong social and cultural lens
DIRECTOR’S VISION
Mikey T’s body of work spans documentary and narrative film, with stories rooted in identity, migration, masculinity, mental health, culture, ownership, and everyday Jamaican life. His films are intentionally agile, discussion-driven, and impact-focused—often designed to function as tools for dialogue, education, and critical reflection rather than passive consumption
