Held in my language means hero

Made specifically for an exhibition called 'Held,' for Start Manchester and Manchester Art Gallery. Using and adapting phrases that are used by people, which contain the word 'held' I have created a fragment of a story, to explore both the restrictions and freedom that words and language give us.One word can have so many different meanings dependent upon tone and context and the ears that are listening and translating. In this animation I have dressed the words with the image of my interpretation, changing how they are received once more.
