The Bear Gallery, London
Urban Landscapes, 1st November – 1st December 2002
A digital installation that was site specific to the ‘Bear Gallery’ taking the viewer on an uncertain journey of landscapes, and blurred memories. Through animation it explores the medium of the pixel, visually representing the way in which we view our environment. The film develops the reality of the juxtaposition between two states, natural and technological, rural and urban, in the 21st century. The film was produced and directed by my self, and involved blending the images into each other using Photoshop. The images where then animated by Contrapositive in London.

St Mungo's, North Lambeth Day Centre, London
Creative Project Worker (Artist in Residence) 04 - 2001, 07 - 2001

I was responsible for the marketing and communication of the courses and activities to the clients including designing advertisements to develop a regular client base. On a daily basis I coached and supported individuals to produce creative work, engaging in one to one discussion and review of work produced, to encourage personal motivation. I communicated effectively to build rapport and trust with vulnerable clients. I was also responsible for organizing regular group outings in London, to teach photography and generate project ideas.

The work was purchased by the Leyland promotion department.

Lime St Productions, Liverpool
Throwaway I, II, III, 1999
I produced three framed A1 images for Lime St Productions to appear in the new television series Liverpool One, starring Samantha Janus and Mark Womac. This work involved visiting the TV studios to discuss the design of the images with the Interior Designer, and over seeing their production and delivery. The work used examined the surfaces of man made objects that where found in rural areas.
