Renderyard Short Film Festival

Renderyard is pleased to announce we are now accepting films for the 4th Renderyard Short Film Festival running from the 1st - 5th October 2008. The Winning films in each of the categories for Best Short Film/Animation, Best Music Video and Best Short Documentary will receive 1000€ each. Other categories which include Machinimania, Film Scores, Scripts will receive a Renderyard Award and get there film placed our Renderyard Film Channel and web site and also receive Free Membership for a year.

The festival is open to films no longer than 12 minutes in length and is held in London and Spain each year at two of the best screening venues in central London that include the fantastic Westbourne Studios and the famous Roxy. In Spain the festival is held in Logrono at the Gota De Leche. We are looking for films that have been produced by drawing inspiration from personal sources and influences that allow each director to project their own reflections and ideas as new forms of visual self expression.

Renderyard was established to provide a creative platform for showing experimental film and animation made by emerging filmmakers. We help to produce and distribute short films throughout the country and abroad, and have a yearly film festival held in London. Renderyard is a digital playground that gives film makers the chance to view and contact each other and provides a strong network facility for emerging new talent.

The Renderyard Short Film Festival in 2007 attracted an outstanding amount of high quality experimental short films and animations, Scripts and Film Music from around the world. Country's included Britain, France, USA, Sweden, South Africa, China and Israel. The festival will screen twenty short films and animations that combine the best of experimental and cutting edge film making and show the strength and diversity of contemporary short film making being made today.
