The Crossing Europe Filmfestival Linz devotes its programme each year to eccentric, contemporary and socio-political auteur cinema from Europe. Over the course of the six days of the festival, audiences will be treated to a programme with approximately 130 outstanding, hand-picked films, documentaries and short films.
Festival programme for April 12 - 17th 2011: * European Panorama
* Competition European Cinema (for first or second feature films with ?10,000 in prize money)
* Tributes (surveys of works by individual directors)
* Specials (films focusing on Working Worlds or from the realm of music and youth culture)
* Nightline (musical live acts).
