This special competition at the 32nd MUNICH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF FILM SCHOOLS (Nov. 11 - 17, 2012) is for film students worldwide and will be taking place for the fifth time within one of the world's top international student film festivals.
Film students from all over the world are invited to present their personal insights on climate change in a globally comprehensible film language - in short films (min. 30 sec., max. 3 min.). These clips can be documentaries, fiction, comedies or dramas - all forms of artistic expression. They just have to be one thing - convincing!
What are the social causes and effects of the global climate change? How can we best protect our climate and ecosystems individually, collectively, locally and globally? How do we avoid the climate collapse? What does climate change mean for our future? What does the term 'renewable energy' mean?
The CLIMATE CLIPS film competition is held by the Nagelschneider Stiftung - Foundation for Renewable Energy, a German non-profit foundation. 5,000 euros goes to the winner. The best three films will be presented at the 2012 MUNICH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF FILM SCHOOLS.
