The 10th Berlinale Talent Campus will take place from February 11 - 16, 2012.

The roots of the Berlinale Talent Campus are firmly planted in Berlin, but, since 2003, new shoots of the Campus initiative have been sprouting up internationally. These Campus International editions have the familiar structure and purpose of their German counterpart; all the while retaining a regional perspective and finding support as well as the necessary amenities in a locally based international film festival.

After Talent Campus programmes in Kiev (Ukraine), Cape Town (South Africa) and Delhi (India), the Berlinale Talent Campus is currently collaborating with five international Talent Campus programmes.

The Berlinale Talent Campus is a creative academy and networking platform for 350 up-and-coming filmmakers from all over the world.

The Berlinale Talent Campus lasts for six days and offers a huge variety of different programme elements for ACTORS - DIRECTORS - CINEMATOGRAPHERS - DISTRIBUTORS - EDITORS - FILM CRITICS - PRODUCERS - PRODUCTION DESIGNERS - SCREENWRITERS - SOUND DESIGNERS and COMPOSERS

Hands-on training programmes

Personal tutoring, coaching and training of participants from different fields of work. These hands-on training programmes require an additional application; in certain cases, related to a project you?re currently working on. Those who make it will take part in an exceptionally valuable experience, in spite of having needed to spend some extra time on the application. The hands-on training programmes of the Campus include:

Script Station for scriptwriters
Doc Station for documentary filmmakers
Talent Project Market for collaborating producers and directors
Score Competition for score composers and sound designers
Campus Studio for directors, producers, cinematographers, and editors involved in post-production stage
Talent Actors Stage for actors
Talent Press for film critics
Berlin Today Award for directors. The Berlin Today Award 2012 films are currently in production and will premiere during the Opening Ceremony of the Berlinale Talent Campus on February 11, 2012.
